The Breaker: Chun-Woo

This has quite literally been sitting on my desktop for nearly a year. Yes really.

I've been so horribly busy with school and life in general that I haven't been able to touch any of my projects for about that long.

So rather than working on my thesis - which I really should be doing - I decided to take a small break and work on an old piece of mine. I present to you one of my favorite characters from one of my fave manwha named Chun-Woo Han. To those who don't know what manwha is, you're behind, google it D:

As for 'The Breaker', basically it's a martial-arts story about a young boy named Shi-Woon Yi who eventually becomes the student of the legendary Goomoonryong (Nine-Arts-Dragon) more or less posing as a teacher at Shi-Woon's school. Slowly Shi-Woon gets dragged into the mysterious world of Murim which is ruled by the Martial Arts Alliance.

He's somewhat of a womanizer and while usually a strict but laid-back guy, when he gets serious, run. Fast. The only one that ever dares cross his temper would be his student Shi-Woon. His temper however is explained by his rather dark past with the MAA.

Read the series to find out more For those who liked Tenjou Tenge, you might find this to be somewhat similar in both style/story ^^

I tried to put Chun-Woo's awesomeness into this piece of fan-art, but somehow I don't think I managed. Some people - or in this case characters - are just too awesome to capture in pixels. I'd make a Chuck Norris joke here, but anyone who's read The Breaker would know he'd likely get his ass kicked by Chun-Woo within seconds

The sequel 'The breaker: New Waves' however doesn't seem to interest me even remotely as much as the original though. Perhaps it's because it feels like it's dragging on somehow. Anyone else have this problem? Mehh.

That and naturally I had to fall in love with the Chun-Woo/Shi-Woon pairing. Darnit....

If only they actually made manwha into animated series. But alas, such things rarely happen
